Toning Tuesday - Week 4

Today is the start of week 4 of my Jillian Michaels Ab challenge and we have progress, people!

Okay, Okay, I might be sucking in a little.

There would probably be more progress if I actually did the DVD the 5 times a week it is recommended, but in all honesty, just getting my apartment set-up to do the workout is a workout in itself so sometime I lack the motivation. 

I have to plug my CD/DVD drive in to my little netbook. Then I have to plug the t.v. cord into the netbook. Then the speakers into the netbook. Then move the little table and chairs over by the front door, basically blockading myself in my studio apartment. After all that, I still only have 3 square feet of room to do the ab exercises, and I hit my elbow on my dresser at least 5 times during the 30 minute work-out. 

Damn city living. Maybe I should just take my lap top to the park and have everyone in Logan Circle look at me really weird as I grunt my way through burpees. If anyone tries to sneak a peek at my screen and join in with the exercises, their ass better pay up some $green$.

I need a picture tour of your apartment in order to see the workout anguish of which you speak. Please. Plus, your abs look great.

That sounds like quite an ordeal. I have a love hate relationship with burpees! Yay for progress. I have never tried Jillian's videos but I can just imagine!

Aw, you are so cute! I feel ya on the limited living/workout out space. Such is the price of living in the DC area I guess. That and tough biking conditions (the roads around me are not great for biking, and the trails are crowded, it makes me sad!:).

Oh urban life! My first apartment was 250 sq. ft. so I understand trying to make space to do things is difficult and frustrating! BUT you are looking good! Time to hit up the beach with those abs! Maybe you will inspire me to actually do abdominal work, I hate it.

haha is it terrible that that is the ONLY reason I would ever want an iphone?? congrats on your ab workouts! you have inspired me to start doing the challenge next week :)

Jillian Michaels is hardcore! Kudos to you for toughing out her workouts! You'll get to where you want to be... I just know it!
